Name: Benjamin Andrew Gingivere
Nickname: Benjie
Age: 19
Race: feline/human most of the time; certain dreams human
Hair
Color: medium brunet
Eye Color: dark blue
Height: 5 feet, 9
inches
Weight: 162 lbs.
Description: Benjamin Andrew Gingivere was risen into nobility in a land stuck in the 1930's.
Utopia, having been hard to find and hard to get back to the rest of civilization once you are there, had finally been discovered
two or three years ago when Benjie ventured out into the land and realized his land wasn't alone. In his travels,
he adapted a Cockney English accent; with much dismay to his mother, he decided he liked his new accent more so than his true
accent, a 'pure,' high-to-do snooty English accent. Though most still have trouble finding the land, most who have found
this land were about the Key Hall area at the strange land, Imaginarium.
strengths: He's talented with most instruments, most notably, the piano or saxophone; he's a good singer; a good
friend; though he rarely shows it, he's is very skilled with his rapier; instead of jumping in and killing his enemies right
away, he prefers the more sophisticated approach of mouthing off with his large vocabulary, belittling, taunting, and sly
jokes are his specialty.
weaknesses: He is somewhat of a coward when it comes to fighting, unless a friend is in danger; he has a tendancy
to ramble on when best to keep quiet; often at a loss for words at inopportune times; he can be somewhat of a pervert... A
bad pervert...
weapon of choice: His weapon is a plain rapier in 17th century style.
Character Desc. (more in depth than on Furc.)
Benjie's neck long hair flairs out from under his musty gray cap he always wears. His eyes are a royal blue, revealing
a childish glow to this already childish-like feline. He wears a yellow button-down shirt with brownish stripes coursing
it's way down to his faded boot-cut jeens; so fittingly he wears brown hiking boots to finish his attire. He often uses Cockney
ryhming slang around close friends but often sounds less Cockney around strangers. He often acts childish for his age, though
it was how he was brought up. He was born on May 17th.
The Beasts
I think I could turn and live with animals, they are so
placid and self-contain'd,
I stand and look at them long and long.
They do not sweat and whine about their condition,
They do not lie awake in the dark and weep for their
sins,
They do not make me sick discussing their duty to
God
Not one is dissatisfied, not one is demented with the
mania of owning things,
Not one kneels to another, nor to his kind that lived
thousands of years ago,
Not one is respectable or industrious over the whole
earth.
-- Walt Whitman, Leaves of Grass, "Song of Myself," section 32
Hey, look! This Yahoo! avatar looks just like Benjie's Furcadian description! Screwy how things work out like
that, neigh?
